🌿 ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Dora Alicia Praxedis
a first-generation Mexican woman, intuitive healer, and the voice behind the Ay Mijita Podcast.

I support women—especially first-gen Latinas—who have spent most of their lives being strong, responsible, and resilient… often at the cost of themselves.

My work is rooted in emotional regulation, ancestral healing, and learning how to move through life without abandoning your body or your truth.

This past year reshaped me deeply.
Grief, illness, and life-altering pauses taught me that healing isn’t about pushing forward—it’s about listening inward.
About choosing safety over urgency.
Presence over performance.

I created Crossing the Year Gently, Mijita for women who don’t need another planner or pep talk—but a moment to breathe, reflect, and arrive exactly as they are.

You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
You’re right on time.

Embrace your raíces. Reclaim your esencia.
